Welcome to one of the BEST campgrounds in Wisconsin! Merry Mac's Campground is a family friendly campground nestled between the South shore of Devil's Lake and Lake Wisconsin. This 40 acre facility offers activities for all age groups: swimming pool, beach, swimming pond with water inflatables, jumping pillow, playground, sand volleyball, basketball, trykes and bikes, friendly camp store surrounded by Mother Nature's beauty!

You know what they say about the seasons in Wisconsin. You have Fall, Winter and Road Construction! Well, fortunately Hwy 78 and all its characteristic "s" turns and lake views will finally be better traveled with smooth roads. This may delay your direct route to the park this Summer when coming from the Sauk Prairie area. The DOT is starting the project in downtown Merrimac, always keeping access to and from the Ferry. The local businesses and townships have discussed possible ways to keep our travelers in the loop, so you will be guided by signs. If you have any questions, please give us a call 608-493-2367!

Here is a quick synopsis of detours. If you are coming from Sauk/Prairie, Water Street/Hwy 12 and heading North to Merry Mac's Campground, you will be detoured to the Devil's Lake, Hwy 159, just outside of Baraboo. This road brings you to Hwy 123 where you will take a right. Proceed 1/2 mile up the hill to DL (Devil's Lake North shore entrance is straight ahead). Take DL to the left to a stop sign - Hwy 113. Take a right and go over the bluff, past the South shore entrance and we are just up 1 mile on the right. Another option is Sauk/Prairie Water Street and go East on Hwy 60 to North Hwy 188. Take 188 around the lake to the Ferry. Take the Ferry across and proceed West to 113, or follow the signs according to construction plans. If you are traveling from Interstate 90, take exit 108A to Hwy 78, South 9 miles towards Merrimac, taking a right turn on DL to the end. Take a left on 113 and we are just up 1/2 mile on the right.
